Mom's Jewelry Collection. Rings

Mom's Jewelry Collection. Rings
Ring Display Tray. Contains all of the rings in Mom's Jewelry Collection that I have tagged. Tags contain ring size and information obtained from markings on the ring; and a "Value" Price - I'm selling for half that price.
In order by Ring Size, beginning with size 3. The majority are size 6.5 (rows 3, 4, 5).
There are more rings; either I have not yet tagged them yet or they are made of gold and I am uncertain about the price.
I will be working on Blog Posts for these rings. So far, I have completed one for Victoria Wieck.
In the meantime, If you want to get a better view of individual rings. Copy/Paste the picture to your computer; then, you can zoom.

Since researching online for matches to pieces in Mom’s Jewelry Collection, I have learned that the majority of pieces were purchased at “Estate Sales”. Prices vary a lot between sellers. If the ring is made from a “precious metal” it is marked on the inside of the band, i.e. 925 for Sterling. 10k, 12k, etc. for Gold. Usually, the country where the ring was made is marked. Rings by designers usually have a marking, i.e. their initials or a symbol. There are no gemstone markings, except for an occasional “CZ” (Cubic Zirconia). Consequently, in most cases, you cannot be certain. Do some research, by reading about the designers or “makers” (i.e. Avon) and watching videos you can learn about the quality of their jewelry. You might find your item featured in a video.

About Vermeil.

https://cadcamnyc.com/blogs/our-blog/vermeil-vs-gold-plated-vs-gold-filled-which-is-better. Vermeil vs Gold Plated vs Gold Filled - Which is Better? Vermeil, also known as “silver gilt”, refers to high quality (pure or sterling) silver that is plated with a thin layer of gold. Most vermeil jewelry available now is created by electroplating the silver with gold, a chemical process that uses an electrical current to bind the two metals together. In order to be considered as true vermeil jewelry in the US, the piece has to meet certain qualifications. For instance, the gold on the piece needs to be at least 2.5 microns thick, and at least 10k or

higher.
