Avon Rings. Grandma Sams and my Mother were both Avon representatives for quite a few years. I was for a short time. After I became in charge of Mom's Jewelry Collection, I saw there was LOTS of pieces from Avon, so I purchased a book, "Identifying Avon Jewelry" by Sandra Sturdivant (copyright 2008). I found most of the jewelry in Mom's Collection. She lists the date, a description, a price (based on the price, not a sale price). I use her prices as a "Value" Price, which is already a deal because of inflation; I'm selling them for half that price. Most of the other pieces, marked Avon, I found online. Prices for the pieces found online vary from seller to seller. I base my "Value" Price on the average price of that item in the book.
Rings have always been my favorite jewelry. When I worked as a cosmetic consultant at Carson Pirie Scott, in Rochester, MN (late 80s to mid 90s), I wore rings as part of my wardrobe. Most of them were Avon rings and they are testaments to the quality of Avon rings: shine like new, no missing stones.

Nightflower. "large Black Onxy set in Gold. 1978. Page 164. Belonged to my Grandmother and was obviously a favorite, worn on a daily basis, the gold finish is worn off the band. I've learned that's not so much a lack of quality of the metal used but because it was likely exposed to chemicals such as dish soap and hand lotions. I wore several of my Avon rings to work on a regular basis but they were not exposed to chemicals - the finish isn't worn off the band.
