Long Chain Necklaces with Pendants.

 

My Grandmother, Hester Sams, in a white pantsuit with a red shell wearing a long chain with a pendant. The photo is from a Sam’s Family Reunion, the man next to her is a relative of the Sam’s family. I choose this picture because everything about it is classic Grama. She wore coordinated pantsuits, preferring black, white, red and yellow. She had shoes and purses that matched. She word bright red lipstick and her hair up in a french twist. She liked several Avon fragrances, her favorite department store fragrance was Tweed, which she purchased at Dayton’s in downtown Rochester, MN.

West Germany. Vintage. Brass. Green Art Glass Pendant Necklace. 24" Value $150 My Price $75. This likely belonged to my aunt Wilma Campbell. Her husband Robert was in Germany while he was in the service after WWII 1946 (clean-up). I have another necklace, in Mom's Jewelry Collection, marked West Germany. I did not find this necklace, however, I found several West Germany Art Glass necklaces with identical setting, different colors. Priced from $156 to $245. The finish is worn off the clasp; I would replace it if the buyer wants me to. *Black Drawer Unit.

Another one of Mom's necklaces. The designer is Amy Kahn Russell. I Googled, Amy Kahn Russell lavender freshwater pearl necklace. Nothing like it. I found a few freshwater pearl necklaces designed by her that were similar selling from $198 to $280. I have a confession to make. I came across the necklace in a tote of Mom's jewelry that I was going to take apart. It's a little "over the top" for my taste (it's also a very heavy piece). I think the small pearls and the faceted stones (I think they are quartz) would make beautiful necklaces (individually). I don't know what to think of the "spikes".
